Area Dining

Continental Martini Bar - With its American fare, comfy booths, olive-shaped light fixtures, and extensive cocktail menu, this 10-year-old vintage diner turned lounge/restaurant remains incredibly popular for everything from a casual lunch to a late-night snack. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

Fork - This affordable, stylish Continental bistro is a local favorite. Most of the ingredients come from organic farms and Amish purveyors; the menu is changed and reprinted daily. Signature dishes include pan-seared miso-ginger salmon with coconut sushi rice, and chimichurri-laced hanger steak with matchstick-thin yucca frites. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

La Famiglia – This Italian showplace offers elegant dining, service, and presentation. The chefs make most of their own pasta, and you might concentrate on such dishes as pappardelle ai funghi, served in appetizer or entree portions, or save room for an excellent veal chop with fresh garlic-basil sauce. The wine cellar is legendary. Open Tuesday – Friday for lunch and dinner; open Sunday and Monday for dinner only.
